The uniqueness of the works of art created by Maestro Dari is shown also by the techniques he uses in the creation of his works.
The work is entirely carried out by hand following an age-old technique originating from more than 2500 years ago. In Etruria craftsmen used a wax model from which they obtained a plaster mould into which the molten metal was poured.
The work in wax was therefore lost and an error in the casting would have destroyed days of work.
Every example is therefore forged and moulded in his precise and unrepeatable style that gives to these works of art a greater sense of uniqueness.
He has increased the depth of his studying in the course of the years in “Tecnica di Oreficeria”. In 2001 he was awarded the post of university lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture of Florence University where a three year course of goldsmithing had been initiated.
