The meaning is obvious in alchemy and in the ancient Egyptian magical tradition: the cosmos that includes everything, that is always renewed, where each part is connected to others in an eternal cycle – even the cycles of the subsequent refining which in alchemy lead to the creation of quintessences. In this ring, the face is not of a snake but of a dragon because in alchemy it is symbol of renewal.
